Introduction:
Our success in this life and in the Hereafter lies entirely in obeying the commands of Allah, in the way shown by Rasulullah(SAW). For this to come in to our live, a great effort is needed.
Institutions in which out children can be educated with true Islamic Values in a totally Islamic Environment are absolutely essential. Such institutions will provide the necessary environment, education and ‘tarbiyat' for our children. Deeni (Islamic) education is obligatory on every Muslim so as to inculcate Islamic values and morals into our lives.
Keeping this concept as the goal, with the blessings of Almighty Allah Ta'aala, the initial phase of DARUL ULOOM NEW YORK started on December 1997 (1418 A.H)in New York City .
Aim and Objective:
The objective of Darul Uloom is to prepare a group of qualified, capable and dedicated Muballigheen, Ulama, and Huffaz of Qur'aan who will be committed to work sincerely for Islam in this society.
Educational Program:
• Hifz-e-Qur'aan (Memorization of
Qur'aan)
• Aalim Course (Dars-e-Nizaami)
• Secondary School Course
• Girl's School
Hifz-e-Qur'aan:
This course leads to the certificate of HAAFIZ-E-QUR'AAN. It takes about 2-3 years (depending on the student) to memorize the whole Qur'aan with TAJWEED. This can be done side-by-side with the secondary school course (academic curriculum) studies.
Alim Course:
This is a 7-year program; the basic outline is as follows:
First Five Years:
Basic Aqeedah, (i.e Introduction to Islamic Beliefs) Massaail Analysis of Arabic Verbs, Arabic Grammar, Arabic Language, Biography of the Holy Prophet (SAW),
Tajweed, Jurisprudence (Fiqh), Logic, The Art of composition, Translation of the Holy
Qur'aan.
Principles of Fiqh (Usoolul-Fiqh), Arabic Literature, The Art of Speaking & Writing Arabic Effectively (Balaaghah)
Hadeeth Methodology and Principles (Usoolul-Hadeeth).
Sixth & Seventh years:
These years are devoted to the in-depth study of Hadeeth (Bukhari, Muslim, Tirmidhi, Abu Dawood, Tahaawi, etc.)
Secondary School Curriculum:
Darul Uloom offers courses in subjects such as English, Math, Science and Social Studies.
Admission for Hifz and Aalim Course:
Applicant must be 9 years of age or older.
The admission can be gained in the month of Shawwal (right after Ramadan).
Girls School :
Deeni Taleem (education) is just as necessary for girls as it is for boys. There is a very essential need to provide such education in a totally Islamic environment with complete Hijab (Purdah). Therefore, a girl's school is established in New York City . Admission is going on, please send your girl students.

- Collection and distribution of Zakaat and Sadaqa and donations to the most deserving.
- Weekend religious classes for adult students.
